You can Create an Account with just your name and email address. A password will be sent to your email to log in, then you can change it to whatever you want. Its all encrypted so nobody will ever know what it is, even us!
Once logged in you should see a bar across the top of the screen. This is your Admin bar. Use this to write new posts (blogs), view comments etc.
There are a number of Categories to list your blogs in, but if you wish to add any others then you’ll need to let me know and I will decide whether to add them or not. If you don’t choose a category at all, then your blog will be harder to find in the lists and by the search.
Use Tags in your posts as these too are picked up by the website search and by the big search engines too!
To upload a picture, use the gadget above the main text window to open the up loader. Once there you can upload pictures from your computer, or link to pictures on the Internet. There is no Gallery on the site at present so only upload and embed pictures into your blogs, then write about them!
You can make blogs private by using the Edit link in the top left hand corner of the write post screen. You can choose to make your blog public, private (so only you can see it) or protect it with a password.
You can allow people to comment on your blogs, or turn them off. Its up to you.
